Agile Configuration & maintenance
“Move fast without breaking things”
In recent years, the agile methodology has not only become established in software development projects and has proven that it is ideal for dynamic goal achievement. We have integrated this methodology into the core of our work processes and expanded it to include Planisware Enterprise configuration-specific elements in order to achieve the highest quality with the shortest possible implementation time. There is at least one certified Scrum Master on each of our teams to ensure the methodology is understood and followed by everyone involved. This allows us to achieve the desired success, regardless of whether your company already handles all projects according to Scrum or our project is the first of its kind.
User acceptance test (UAT)
Every configuration item created by our team goes through a quality control process that starts with a developer test, through documentation of the affected objects, to a formal test for final verification. Based on the four-eyes principle, we never deliver a new configuration in a customer environment without a positive test result.

With these measures we already set very high quality standards, but these cannot prevent misunderstandings or undefined system states.
For this reason, user acceptance testing is essential to ensure that the final configuration meets end-user expectations. During the User Acceptance Test phase, customer-specific business processes are usually carried out end-to-end in the Planisware Enterprise configuration to ensure that nothing stands in the way of going live.
Go-live Support
After the successful user acceptance test, it is important that the verified configuration (and only this) is transferred to the productive environment. We achieve this through strict separation into several environments (e.g. development, test, production) where data only flows “downwards” (starting from the production environment) and configuration only flows “upwards” (starting from the development environment).

Manual steps are reduced to the most necessary and documented in detail in a release procedure. Hypercare
Many implementation projects end with the release in the production environment and end users are on their own during the rollout. After the rollout, we offer our customers a hypercare phase with additional support as long as it is necessary or sensible.
